We've been in Rome a month now and it really seems like home. I've even figured out how to use the telephones!
What a beautiful day to visit the Castel sant'Angelo. After waiting in a long line, I walked up lots of stairs.
Way up top, we got really good views.
I even found the only shade on top of the castle!
Let's see if I can throw one of these old cannon balls!
A very nice lunch for all.
At Largo di Torre Argentina, there is a shelter for cats. They get fed and taken care of and get to sit around all day in the sun in Rome... what a life!
Taking a rest.
A short walk through the Jewish Ghetto and over the river and Isola Tiburtina.
And Opa let me taste his gelati... hope he didn't want it back.
We tried to walk through the Roman Forum, but it was already closed. But we got a nice view in the evening light.
Everyone had fun taking pictures of the Colosseum at night. It is very beautiful when it is lit up.
And of course Pizza for dinner and more gelati for all at the Fontana di Trevi.
The next day, Oma, Opa and Daddy tried to go to the Vatican and the Museum, but there was a really long line. Maybe next time.
They met mommy for lunch at Campo de Fiori and then a nice stroll back home to pick me up at daycare.
And of course a walk through the park.
I command you to feed me!
Picture time for the Koopers. Smile!
Then I found a great tree to play on. Opa even climbed on it with me!
Daddy went back home to work, and Opa is leaving tomorrow morning. So Oma and Opa read to me while mommy made a nice dinner.
And just before bed time, a little fun in the bathtub mommy bought for me
Like my new hat?
A nice view from the top of the Vatican
Today Oma brought my cars to park. Vroom, vroom, vroom.
Yummy, yummy, yummy, I've got tiramisu in my tummy ...
Making "soup"?
