Travel Weary

After a long day trying to get to Florida, we only made it to Atlanta. But mommy and daddy found a nice hotel and got us on a flight the next day.

We had a big family vacation in Florida with the Marc, Jan, Melissa and Elijah, Susie and Marc and Grandma.

Mommy and Max too a nap in the shade ...

while Ethan played in the pool with Susie.

Then we took the shuttle boat to the beach

where Marc K. and Elijah tried out their boogie board.

Ethan tried to figure out what all that grainy stuff was on the ground

And though about going in the water, but it was too cold.

Marc W. tried to help with the boogie board

And the rest of us hid in the shade from the strong Florida sun.

Everyone got a chance to hold Max First Jan,

then Susie.

Finally, Ethan got a chance to build some sand castles with daddy.

Christmas Eve

Presents for Ethan! Marc, Jan, Melissa and Elijah went over board with a huge truck and lots of little cars.

And mommy and daddy got Ethan a cool doctors kit. Are you sick? Let me look in your ear!

It's great to be around family on the holidays.

Then it was time to go back to the pool! Marc K. was trying to teach Ethan how to swim.

A big football day. Both Florida and Illinois played in bowl games!
